810 bhp

About the Williams FW22

The FW22 was an evolution of the FW21 and began Williams' engine partnership with BMW, which lasted until the end of 2005; it was the first Formula One car with a BMW engine since the Megatron-badged Arrows A10B of 1988. Ralf Schumacher scored eight points finishes, including three third places, and was fifth in the drivers' standings with 24 points. Rookie Jenson Button added 12 points, and at the Brazilian Grand Prix became the youngest driver at that time to score a World Championship point, aged 20 years and two months. Their combined 36 points placed Williams third in the constructors' championship behind Ferrari and McLaren.
