About the Rimac Concept One
The Rimac Concept One debuted as the world's first all-electric hypercar, proving that battery power could rival the established internal combustion elite. Developed by Mate Rimac in Croatia, it features a unique quad-motor setup with independent torque vectoring at each wheel, allowing for unprecedented agility and traction control. The 2013 production version utilised a 92kWh battery pack and a sophisticated drivetrain with two-speed dual-clutch gearboxes on the rear axle to maintain high-speed acceleration. Only eight units were ever produced, cementing its status as a rare technological milestone that paved the way for the record-breaking Nevera.
