About the Racing Point RP19

The RP19 was the first car built by Racing Point after the team bought Force India's assets in August 2018, designed under technical director Andrew Green with a Mercedes M10 power unit badged as a BWT Mercedes. It began the season with the 'nostril' nose the team had used since the Force India VJM08B of 2015, switching to a more conventional nose in Belgium to improve its aerodynamics. Sergio Pérez's best results were two sixth places and he scored in each of the last six races, while Lance Stroll's best was fourth in a rain-soaked race. Racing Point finished seventh in the Constructors' Championship.
