About the Pagani Huayra Codalunga
Commissioned by two collectors and developed by the Pagani Grandi Complicazioni division, the Codalunga is a bespoke 'long-tail' reimagining of the Huayra. Its design draws heavy inspiration from 1960s endurance racers like the Porsche 917, featuring a rear engine cover that is 360mm longer than the standard coupé and lacks a rear grille to expose the titanium exhaust. Despite the increased length, extensive use of advanced composites and a minimalist approach to bodywork resulted in a weight reduction of 70kg over the base Huayra. The interior is equally evocative, utilizing aged leathers and matte-finished aluminium to create a timeless, mechanical aesthetic.
