Marussia MR01
The first car to carry the Marussia name, developed with a wind tunnel after two all-CFD Virgin designs.
About the Marussia MR01
Originally known as the Virgin MVR-03, the MR01 was Marussia's 2012 car, driven by Timo Glock and rookie Charles Pic. Unlike its predecessors it was designed with a combination of wind-tunnel testing and CFD, with Pat Symonds as technical consultant. It failed a mandatory crash test before the final pre-season test and so had no proper testing before the season, first running in a shakedown at Silverstone. Glock's 12th place in Singapore was the best result the Virgin and Marussia team had achieved, though Caterham overtook Marussia for tenth in the championship at the final race.

Marussia MR01 rarity in CarSpot
The Marussia MR01 is a Unicorn card in CarSpot, with a rarity score of 0 out of 100. The rarest tier: hypercars, one-offs and cars built in tiny numbers, typically fewer than about 500. A Unicorn card is worth 320 XP.
Each model's tier starts from a 0–100 score based on its value plus its power or production numbers. Once enough players have spotted a model, how often it is spotted can move it up or down one tier. How CarSpot rarity works
Rarity is a collectible game mechanic, not an assessment of real-world scarcity or value.
