About the Lincoln Town Car
The second-generation Lincoln Town Car represents the final evolution of the traditional full-size American luxury sedan. Built on the robust Panther platform, the 1995 model benefited from a significant mid-cycle refresh that introduced a more modern interior and the improved 4R70W transmission. The Signature trim was the volume leader, balancing opulent leather upholstery and digital instrumentation with a smooth 4.6-litre Modular V8. While its soft air suspension prioritises a 'floating' ride over handling, its durability and classic proportions have made it a growing favourite among modern classic collectors.
