About the Ferrari F14 T
The F14 T, internally Project 665, was Ferrari's answer to the 2014 rules, pairing a chassis developed under technical director James Allison with the new 1.6-litre 059/3 V6 turbo hybrid and an eight-speed gearbox. Former champions Fernando Alonso and Kimi Räikkönen, the latter returning after five years away, made up the line-up. Ferrari kept its pull-rod front suspension and gave the car a low, flat nose, but the package was not competitive. Alonso's two podiums were the only ones of the season, making it the first Ferrari since the F93A of 1993 to go a year without a Grand Prix win.
