Ferrari F1-75
Ferrari's first ground-effect car, quick from the opening race but undone by reliability and strategy in 2022.
About the Ferrari F1-75
The F1-75, internally Project 674, was Ferrari's first car under the 2022 technical regulations and was named for the 75th anniversary of the first Ferrari production car leaving the Maranello factory. Ferrari took pole and a one-two at the Bahrain opener, led by Charles Leclerc, who added a grand slam in Australia, while Carlos Sainz Jr. took his first win at the British Grand Prix. Strong in corners, it took 12 poles, but four consecutive Leclerc poles from Miami to Baku brought no wins amid unreliability and poor strategy. Porpoising, a detuned engine and the cost cap halting upgrades blunted its second half, and it finished with four wins and 20 podiums from 22 races.
