About the Bentley Mark V
The Bentley Mark V was intended to be the successor to the 4¼ Litre, featuring a new F-head engine and an advanced independent front suspension system. Its development was halted by the onset of World War II, resulting in only 11 completed cars ever reaching customers. The chassis was significantly more rigid than its predecessors, providing a more refined and modern driving experience for the era. Today, it is one of the most sought-after pre-war Bentleys due to its extreme rarity and its role as the bridge to the post-war Mark VI.
