About the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera
Replacing the Vanquish S as Aston Martin's flagship Super GT, the DBS Superleggera combines the DB11's bonded aluminium structure with aggressive carbon-fibre bodywork. Its 5.2-litre V12 is tuned to deliver a massive 900Nm of torque, necessitating a heavy-duty ZF 8-speed transaxle to manage the output. While the 'Superleggera' name pays homage to the lightweight construction of historic models, the car remains a substantial grand tourer focused on effortless high-speed cruising and immense in-gear acceleration. It features advanced aerodynamics, including an F1-inspired double diffuser that generates 180kg of downforce at its 211mph top speed.
