About the Aston Martin AMR21
The AMR21 was the first car entered by the returning Aston Martin team and an evolution of the Racing Point RP20, powered by the Mercedes-AMG F1 M12 E Performance. Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll raced it in traditional British racing green, with sponsor BWT's pink stripe retained. Vettel scored the team's first podium as Aston Martin with second place at the 2021 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, which proved to be the last podium of his career. He also crossed the line second in Hungary but was disqualified when the stewards could not extract enough fuel from his car.
