About the Alpina XB7 G07
The Alpina XB7 (G07) represents the first time an Alpina model was assembled at BMW's Spartanburg plant in South Carolina, rather than being completed in Buchloe. Based on the X7 M50i, Alpina engineers fitted larger twin-scroll turbochargers and a bespoke cooling system to the 4.4-litre V8, resulting in a massive 612 hp and 800 Nm of torque. Despite its nearly 2.7-tonne kerb weight, the XB7 delivers sports-car-rivalling performance while maintaining the brand's signature 'iron fist in a velvet glove' ride quality. It is distinguished by its 23-inch multi-spoke forged wheels, quad oval exhaust tips, and a more understated, luxury-focused aesthetic compared to BMW's own M-division products.
