About the BRM P57
Designed by Tony Rudd, the P57 began in 1961 as a Coventry Climax-powered stopgap before BRM's own 1,498 cc P56 V8 arrived for 1962 in an otherwise unchanged spaceframe. With Lucas fuel injection the V8 made about 190 hp, similar to the Climax, but could rev to 11,000 rpm, some 3,500 rpm higher. Graham Hill won the Dutch Grand Prix and then three of the last four races, in Germany, Italy and South Africa, finishing every round to beat Jim Clark's faster Lotus 25 to the 1962 title. In 1963 Hill won at Monaco and in the United States as he and Richie Ginther finished second and third in the championship. Privateers such as Scuderia Centro Sud raced P57s until the end of the 1.5-litre formula in 1965.

BRM P57 rarity in CarSpot
The BRM P57 is a Unicorn card in CarSpot, with a rarity score of 25 out of 100. The rarest tier: hypercars, one-offs and cars built in tiny numbers, typically fewer than about 500. A Unicorn card is worth 320 XP.
Each model's tier starts from a 0–100 score based on its value plus its power or production numbers. Once enough players have spotted a model, how often it is spotted can move it up or down one tier. How CarSpot rarity works
Rarity is a collectible game mechanic, not an assessment of real-world scarcity or value.
