About the Brabham BT24

Ron Tauranac based the BT24 on the BT23 Formula Two car, sticking with a spaceframe chassis when every other Formula One designer had moved on, and built it around Repco's all-new RB740 V8 with its exhausts inside the vee. It made its race debut at the 1967 Belgian Grand Prix, and although it looked almost obsolete beside the Lotus 49, its reliability made it the tortoise to Lotus's hare. Jack Brabham and Denny Hulme won three races and added six second places as Brabham took the Constructors' Championship, while Hulme beat his team owner to the Drivers' title by five points. Only three chassis were raced, and the third was later given a Cosworth engine by Frank Williams for Piers Courage to race in the 1969 Tasman Series.

Brabham BT24 rarity in CarSpot

The Brabham BT24 is a Unicorn card in CarSpot, with a rarity score of 100 out of 100. The rarest tier: hypercars, one-offs and cars built in tiny numbers, typically fewer than about 500. A Unicorn card is worth 320 XP.

Each model's tier starts from a 0–100 score based on its value plus its power or production numbers. Once enough players have spotted a model, how often it is spotted can move it up or down one tier. How CarSpot rarity works

Rarity is a collectible game mechanic, not an assessment of real-world scarcity or value.
